Aruni aspired to be a fashion model from a young age. She first appeared on stage in Kandy and won the ‘Udarata Menike’ title in 2004. She went on to win the ‘Capri Beauty Queen’ title in 2005.

These titles paved the way for a modelling career with Sri Lanka’s top designers showcasing the best brands in Sri Lanka. She has perfected the art of ramp modelling through her exceptional posing ability and walk. Aruni is the choice of leading brands for TV commercials and as a brand ambassador.
